Über Bhakti

I was born in 1977 in Luxembourg as Brigitte Catherine Hardy. After one and a half years working in a Luxembourg Bank, I worked until the age of 23 as Stewardess with Luxair.

After a turning point that changed my entire life, I lived for three years in India at the ashram – named after Sri Aurobindo and founded by Mira Alfassa "The Mother" – Auroville (which is a spiritual community).

Here I became a Reiki-master and teacher, an Ayurveda therapist, a sound bowl therapist and I learned how to lead meditations as well as to guide healing Indian rituals (Pujas).

Among other things, I worked in this domain as a seminar leader in Luxembourg from 2003 to 2006.

In 2006, I met Michael Ostarek who became my teacher, brother, husband and companion.

About Michael

Hans-Michael Ostarek, born 1950 in a little Bavarian village.

As a child I experienced Love and spiritual communication with what in religious terms you would call God or Christ. Part of my school days I lived in a small Benedictine monastery, a time that offered me the opportunity to become still and to practise this communication (for example in its quiet chapel).

In my youth (19-23) I lived in a music community, called the "Lord’s Familiy" which I also co-founded. We understood ourselves as seekers for a deeper truth we wanted to find and to share with each other.

To my surprise, my way led me very swiftly into the work as a Lutheran deacon with mentally and physically handicapped people and into having a family with five children. I went to university in order to become “Heilerziehungspfleger” and “Heilpädagoge”. (This is a blend of education, nurse and psychotherapies). In this profession I worked in a Kindergarten, as a teacher in school, in homes for the aged, in psychiatry, in a women’s shelter and in homes for handicapped people.

In 1995 (the same year I began to study "A Course in Miracles"), I started to give seminars in order to "answer the Call"…

On a seminar in the Sinai desert in Egypt led by me, where we learned to become still, I met Bhakti, who now is my wife.

Since 2007, we live in a Course-community in Thuringa on an old farm called Mölmeshof. Every day, we here begin with what we call "New Learning". This means healings, sessions, satsangs and all the lessons we do have to learn. Some of this we broadcast live (Radio Psychosophie - in German)

We invite you to participate in this offering and to stay with us in our community for a while. If you don’t understand German, we’ll be happy to translate.
You can also visit our Community Webseite and have a look at some of our photos, poems, prayers and texts.

Our publications (books, brochures, CD’s and "Radio Psychosophie") we give freely.
We gratefully accept donations.
